Summer Hillsdale Cancelled

After much discussion, the board of directors has decided to cancel the Summer Hillsdale race on July 18/19. We talked with many IOA members at the Huntington race and came to the conclusion that being the week before the APBA nationals in Wakefield Michigan, not many boat racers would attend. It was a difficult decision but the lack of entries would not be enough to cover expenses. Once again we apologize if you were planning on attending.

Summer Hillsdale Race

The date for the Summer Hillsdale race has been changed to July 18/19.  The sanction for this race will be posted soon.

Last Call for Driver’s School at Huntington Indiana June 5

As of right now we still have a few spots available for Driver’s school at the Indiana Outboard Associations 5th Annual Harry Brinkman Memorial Regatta.  The school will take place on Friday June 5 starting at 10 a.m.  There will be a 3 hour course where new drivers will learn the ins and outs of boat racing followed by a testing session at 1 p.m. where attendees will drive either a J Hydro or a C stock Hydro.  Anyone who is interested or know someone that is interested, please feel free to contact either me (Dan Koschka) at koschka41h@gmail.com or our club president Jasen Dircksen at clearwatercustoms@outlook.com.  Entry fee will be $50 and this includes a 1 day membership to APBA.  We would like to have all RSVPs in by no later than Saturday May 23.
